New Leaf Leisure is a community-based service initiative of New Leaf Brokerage LLC. It was born from the idea that everyone has the right to play, relax, and enjoy their time without restrictions.

For people with disabilities, there are extra steps to locating and accessing recreational activities. Is the location accessible? Can caregivers attend as well? Can the activity be adapted, and does the instructor actually know how to adapt it safely? These steps become barriers to ‘third spaces’ - places where people gather to relax, share in their interests, and connect with others. From local parks to sports leagues, concerts to camping, finding activities that truly meet one’s needs can be overwhelming.

New Leaf Leisure intends to help reduce those barriers by providing information on accessible and adaptive locations, programs, and items to foster independence in these spaces. Most importantly, New Leaf Leisure’s services are free - there should never be a paywall to joy!
